Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is used on cut and beveled pipe ends before welding to make sure there are no parent material flaws. MPI is also used by STANLEY Inspection to detect surface cracks after grinding or machining operations.
